Steve Nibbelink, known to many folks as the RPG blogger “Vulcan Stev”, suffered a house fire that destroyed most of his family’s belongings and has left them living in a hotel until they find a new home. A few years ago he created a simple card game called Wizard’s Duel, which uses ordinary playing cards, and has plays it with his kids. I’ve played it; it’s fast, fun, and occasionally silly.
Asparagus Jumpsuit has published the rules to Wizard’s Duel as a a fundraiser for Steve. It’s $5 for only 2 pages of rules, but all of our profits go straight to the Nibbelink family.
Steve also contributed to, and collects a royalty from, two other AJ products, 30d30: Tables for Your Largest Die, and The Infinity Rings, a collection of 52 magic rings for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.
