This is a detail of a doll Katie recently created as a commission piece. She designs and creates all of the clothes from scratch, without using a pattern. She also crocheted the sweater, and it actually buttons closed with the little wooden hand button. Katie loves working with retro fabrics and has an eye for unusual color and pattern combinations — she calls it “painting with fabric”.
