Which is more dangerous, having other peoples’ money handed to you so you don’t have to work, or having other peoples’ opinions handed to you so you don’t have to think?

That’s a tough one. Theoretically, if you are already capable of thinking for yourself, having someone else’s opinions handed to you is not dangerous because you’ll analyze them. Having someone else’s money handed to you however can condition even the most dedicated to not working.
For a child though, who has not developed the strength of conviction to define and hold their own beliefs, having someone else’s opinion handed to them AS FACT is definitely more dangerous.
Just my two cents.
I think the danger is adults accepting opinion AS FACT.
