The Apartment is Clean

It pleases me to no end to announce that the apartment is clean. I’ve been grinding so hard to get projects released, a lot had fallen by the wayside. That includes doing more than running a quick vacuum now and then.

Every surface has been dusted and wiped down. The furniture has been moved, and the floors have been meticulously vacuumed, swept, and mopped. Clutter has been put away, with unnecessary items being properly disposed of.

For me, the desire to clean is often a function of anxiety. It’s about being in control of my environment. Having a sparkling and organized apartment is also good for my mental health overall. It’s pleasant, and I can actually relax without seeing at least five things that need to be done.
