Writing Grind and Writing Gratitude

This is perforce going to be a short post. I released 3 books this week, at will drop at least one and possibly two next week. I’d like to talk at length about both the writing grind and writing gratitude, but I simply don’t have the time to unpack all of it today.

The grind part is obvious, I’d think, given my level of output. Let’s focus on the gratitude, then. There’s enough money in the account to pay next month’s rent and all of our immigration renewal fees, both due at the end of the month. I have the physical and mental ability to do this job, even though everything hurts and brain fog is a daily occurrence.

I’m into my fifth year doing this. While I’m sometimes impatient that things aren’t growing as quickly as I’d like them to, I have to balance that against all of the good. I haven’t had to worry about getting a “real job”, and I’ve long ago given up caring about the people that don’t see this as one. The bills are paid. I’m happy. That’s all there is to it.
